Yes, we are congregating on Super Bowl Sunday, which shall hereafter be dubbed Super Squirrel Sunday! When it comes to feeding squirrels, everyone can be a winner (and we have the peanuts to make it happen!). We don’t mind whether you support the Giants or the Patriots as long as you support the squirrels, so meet us on the front steps of Hatcher Graduate Library.

Our final meeting of 2011 commences on the front steps of Hatcher Graduate Library at 3 p.m. on Sunday! “Should auld sciurus be forgot, and never brought to mind?” By all that is holy and squirrelly, we answer with a resounding “No!” We bring the peanuts, you bring the holiday spirit, and the squirrels bring their enthusiastic appetites. If we reach critical mass, we may even attempt a group rendition of “Carol of the Squirrels” (with squirrel calls, what else?)!

Goodbye, Daylight Saving Time! Guess what’s forecasted for this Sunday? Sunny skies, temperatures in the 60s, and enthusiastic squirrel feeding! As usual, we meet on the steps of the Graduate Library, but please note that we begin at three (not four!) p.m. this weekend!

In the style of Mark Twain à la Sir Thomas Malory, an ye be there not, may heaven preserve ye from the wrath of the mighty squirrel!

Happy Autumn! Meet us on the steps of the graduate library this Sunday as we bid a fond farewell to summer and rejoice that it’s time for cider, football, and, of course, feeding the squirrels!

Note: We are preparing the Fall order for our “Michigan Squirrels” t-shirts. If you would like to purchase a shirt, please bring $12 (for short sleeve) or $15 (for long sleeve) in cash or check to the meeting.

If you’re new to the Club, welcome! If you’re old, welcome back! We’re hosting our Fall 2011 Callout on Sunday, and everyone who is anyone will be there. Join us on the front steps of Hatcher Graduate Library for peanuts and a squirrel feeding demonstration (there is definitely a technique), after which we’ll disperse throughout the Diag in search of our furry friends.

Another year, another glorious season of squirrel feeding! Our booth is open for peanuts and other squirrelly business from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., so stop by and say “hello, lovers of Sciuridae”!

Does it feel like Spring yet? We hope so because we would like to meet on the steps of the Graduate Library this Sunday! The weather is forecasted to be cool and rainy, though, so stay tuned for updates. If it’s raining hard, the squirrels won’t be out, and neither will we.
